My work is inspired by nature and my close relationship with it.
My language is organic and reflects a deep vision of the forms, backgrounds, lights and shadows found in natural environments. I use simple techniques such as cutting, folding, gluing and basic materials such as paper, white glue and scissors, which I combine with natural materials such as plants, fabrics, wood, among others.
My ongoing research on the techniques of Origami (the art of fold paper) and Kirigami (the art of cut paper) allow me to develop an authentic work whose virtue is to transform an ordinary material present in our daily life in different ways (money, books, magazines, cards, etc.), into something unusual with a simple appearance but complex structure, a subtle beauty that transmits fragility and forcefulness like nature itself and its constant transformation.
